נײַ ענגליש־ייִדיש װערטערבוך
דאָס ייִדיש־װערטערבוך פֿון דעם 21סטן יאָרהונדערט (דערװײַליקער טיטל) איז איניציִיִרט געװאָרן פֿון ד”ר מרדכי שעכטער, דער לאַנגיאָריקער אױספֿיר־סעקרעטאַר פֿון דער ייִדיש־ליגע. במשך עטלעכע יאָרצענדלינגער האָט ד”ר שעכטער געזאַמלט, װי אױך געשאַפֿן, הונדערטער, און אפֿשר טױזנטער, נײַע ייִדישע װערטער. דער װערטער־אוצר װאָס איז דער יסוד פֿון דעם װערק איז כּולל נײַע װערטער און טערמינען װאָס האָבן אַ שײַכות מיט דער טעכנאָלאָגיע און מיט אַנדערע אַספּעקטן פֿון דעם מאָדערנעם לעבן װאָס זײַנען אונטערגעקומען זינט דעם אַרױסקום פֿון אוריאל װײַנרײַכס מאָדערן ענגליש־ייִדיש ייִדיש־ענגליש װערטערבוך אין 1968. סע װעלן אױך אַרײַן לאַנגאָניקע װערטער װאָס האָבן נישט זוכה געװען דאָרטן אַרײַנגענומען צו װערן. דאָס בוך װעט זײַן אַ גװאַלדיקער רעסורס פֿאַר ייִדישע־רעדערס און לײענערס פֿון הײַנטצײַטיקע ייִדיש־פּובליקאַציעס.

ווזמא"י (ווי זאָגט מען אויף ייִדיש?)
פֿון 2002 ביז 2009 האָט די ייִדיש־ליגע אָנגעפֿירט מיט ווזמא”י (װי זאָגט מען אױף ייִדיש?), אַן עלעקטראָנישע פּאָסט־רשימה װאָס האָט געהאַט פֿאַר איר ציל צו פֿאַרשפּרײטן דעם באַניץ פֿון װערטער און אױסדרוקן, ספּעציעל טערמינאָלאָגישע פֿירלײגן, װאָס מע קען נישט לײַכט אָדער בכלל נישט געפֿינען אין די שױן פֿאַראַנענע ייִדיש־װערטערביכער. ווזמא”י איז געװען די אײנציקע עלעקטראָנישע רשימה אין גאַנצן איבערגעגעבן דעם װײַטער לערנען זיך ייִדיש. דער קאָאָרדינאַטאָר פֿונעם פּראָיעקט, בנימין שעכטער, האָט צוזאַמענגעאַרבעט מיט אַ גרופּע ייִדיש־מבֿינים. דער ווזמא”י־פּראָיעקט האָט אַרױסגעגעבן סך־הכּל 81 רשימות און מע האָט געפֿונען אָדער געשאַפֿן ייִדיש־עקװיוואַלענטן צו עטלעכע טױזנט ענגלישע טערמינען.
גראַדירטע לייען־מאַטעריאַלן
מיר פּלאַנירן אַרויסצוגעבן גראַדירטע ייִדיש־לייען־מאַטעריאַלן פֿאַר סטודענטן פֿון פֿאַרשײדענע מדרגות, אױסגעסדרט לױטן װאָקאַבולאַר און דער שװערקײט פֿון די גראַמאַטישע ענינים.
The Yiddish Dictionary of the 21st Century (working title) is a project initiated by Dr. Mordkhe Schaechter, long-time Executive Director of the League for Yiddish. Over the course of several decades Dr. Schaechter collected and helped to create hundreds, and perhaps even thousands, of new Yiddish words. This vocabulary, which forms the basis of the dictionary, includes new words and terms relating to technology and many other aspects of modern life that have come into parlance since the publication of Uriel Weinreich's Modern English-Yiddish Yiddish-English Dictionary in 1968. It will also include older words which do not appear in Weinreich's dictionary. This book will be an invaluable resource for those who speak Yiddish in their daily lives and read contemporary Yiddish publications.
.... The editors of the dictionary are Dr. Chava Lapin, Yiddish scholar and language expert and Gitl Schaechter-Viswanath, stylistic editor of Afn Shvel and Yiddish poet who worked with Dr. Schaechter during the first years of the project.
VZMAY (How Would You Say It in Yiddish?)
From 2002–2009 the League for Yiddish sponsored VZMAY (acronym for "Vi zogt men af yidish?" or "How would you say it in Yiddish?"), an electronic "Yiddish Q & A" mailing list which sought to promote the use of Yiddish words and expressions not easily found — or not found at all — in existing Yiddish dictionaries. VZMAY was the only e-mail list of its kind, exclusively dedicated to learning more Yiddish. This project was coordinated by Binyumen Schaechter in conjunction with a panel of Yiddish experts. In all, 81 lists were compiled and Yiddish equivalents were found or created for several thousand English terms.
Graded readers
We plan to publish graded Yiddish readers for students at various levels, structured by the level of vocabulary and the difficulty of grammatical construction.
