For non-US orders only the price of the items purchased will be shown at checkout and in the email confirmation that follows. The shipping charges (see below) will be manually added within about a week afterwards, and you will be notified of the cost. Then the total amount will either be charged to your credit card or you will pay it via one of the "offline" payment options. Note: in the event our actual shipping charges are significantly higher than the prices indicated below, we reserve the right to add higher charges to your order, but we will contact you for permission first.

In the case where you use our site to purchase a membership in the League for Yiddish, we collect and retain the member's address, email, and phone information in order to keep in contact with the member and to send the member our publication Afn Shvel.
Apart from the cases of membership purchase just described, we use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
